Sunday, March 7 - 3rd Sunday of Lent
Our gathering will be shortened a bit this week due to the Ekklesia,
but we will continue our use of the lectionary and our focus on
confession as the springboard to hope and as a practice of truthtelling
(our honest examination of the story that God is writing and the
stories we try to write). This week's lectionary texts are Isaiah
55:1-9; Psalm 63; 1 Corinthians 10:1-13; and Luke 13:1-9.
Sunday, March 7 - Ekklesia
Our quarterly community gathering is coming soon on Sunday, March 7. Ekklesia is a time of community information, vision for our future, and open discussion about shared community and mission. Our worship gathering will be shortened to an hour (5-6pm). We'll do a community pizza order which will arrive at 6pm. Ekklesia will begin sharply at 6:15 and will end at 7:15pm. Childcare will be provided.

Welcome!
|
Emmaus Way is a community of people committed to following Jesus
Christ. Jesus' mandate, that we love one another as we love ourselves,
encourages us to look beyond our own interests to the needs of others.
Pursuing this requires us to deepen our frienships with one another, to
help each other where there is need, and to encourage one another to
look outside ourselves.
